First Time at A-WOL?
WHAT DO I WEAR?
We recommend students wear stretchy exercise-type clothing that allows you to move freely (capri pants work best.) Our warehouse temperature fluctuates throughout the year so layers can be very helpful. No necklaces, rings, or large earrings are allowed. (They tend to get caught and can cause injury to you or other students or damage to the equipment.) Please refrain from wearing lotions (as this makes equipment difficult to grip) and perfume or oils (as they can be disruptive to other students’ enjoyment of the space).
Shoes - Shoes can be left under the bench in the lobby.
Personal Belongings - These can go to the studio with you. Please limit the space you are taking up by leaving unnecessary items at home or in your car.
Masks - Masks are no longer required, all individuals who wish to wear a mask are welcome to do so.
Water bottles - Please bring your own, we do have a refill station. We do not supply cups.
Grip Aids - If you prefer grip aid for class, you may bring your own. Be mindful of how you are applying it and do not let these sticky items get on our floors.
Arrival
Arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your class/lesson. Our front door is locked 24 hours a day and your instructor is the one to let you in. Please wash or sanitize your hands upon entering the building.
Departure
Clean up after yourself. Do not leave any chalk or rosin or garbage around your workspace.
PLEASE BE ON TIME TO CLASS!
Warming up is the key to injury prevention. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes late to thed designated start time will be asked not to participate (and not eligible for a refund of the preregistration purchase).
